Harriett shares birthday celebrations with intern Kristin Monaco, who turned 18 years old, and Evelyn Greeley, who had just reached 90 years young. (Mrs. Greeley passed away in late 2001.)

Being there is part of a legislator's job. Where Merrimac is concerned, Harriett is always there, whether it's in Worcester to honor the town's firefighters or in town to judge the "Anything on Wheels" parade.
